Here’s the dirty secret of the boutique bass world: you don’t need to remortgage anything to get a handmade instrument that plays like it costs three times its price tag. That’s the Maruszczyk proposition, and after years of selling them, we still haven’t found the catch.

Adrian Maruszczyk builds every bass in Lublin, Poland : a small workshop, a small team, and an almost unreasonable commitment to getting it right. The fit and finish rival brands charging double. The necks feel like they’ve been played in from day one. And because every order is essentially semi-custom, you end up with a bass that feels personal without the 36-month wait.

We’re in constant contact with Adrian and carry a rotating stock of ready-to-ship models, including:

• Elwood (5, 5a, 4, 4p, L) - The flagship range. Jazz-inspired, modern-voiced, and available in more configurations than you’d expect from a workshop this size.
• Jake (4, 4a, 5, 5a) - P-bass DNA filtered through Polish craftsmanship. Punchy, direct, and dangerously comfortable.
• Sputnik - For the player who wants something that doesn’t look or sound like anything else on the rack. Weird in the best possible way.
• Frog Pi - Wojtek Pilichowski’s signature. Bold, ergonomic, and built for players who treat their bass like a contact sport.

All models come in fretted or fretless configurations. However, the real magic happens when you go custom. We handle the full spec process with Adrian directly, so you get workshop-level communication through someone who speaks both bass and Maruszczyk fluently.
