The Lee Sklar “Ducati White” is a striking signature model from Dingwall, created in collaboration with one of the most recorded bassists of all time. Moreover, it combines premium craftsmanship with artist-specific features, resulting in an instrument that delivers both individuality and performance.
The body construction uses ash on the bass side and alder on the treble side, reflecting Dingwall’s unique design philosophy. In addition, the five-piece maple neck joins with a wenge fretboard shaped into a thin flat “C” profile for smooth playability. Mandolin-size frets further improve accuracy and feel.
The multi-scale design stretches from 37" on the low B string down to 34" on the high string. As a result, players enjoy consistent string tension, reliable intonation, and comfort across all five strings. With 18 mm string spacing, the bass remains flexible for different playing techniques.
Dingwall Super Fatty pickups drive the sound, while a customised Glockenklang 3-band preamp adds extensive tone-shaping options. Therefore, the Ducati White Signature adapts easily to both live and studio environments.
