The Lee Sklar “Ari Gold” is a true signature masterpiece from Dingwall, designed in collaboration with one of the most recorded bassists of all time. Moreover, it brings together premium materials and unique specifications, creating an instrument that balances versatility with personality.

The body uses ash on the bass side and alder on the treble side, offering Dingwall’s distinctive approach to construction. In addition, the five-piece maple neck pairs with a wenge fretboard and a comfortable thin flat “C” profile. Mandolin-size frets further enhance accuracy and smooth playability.

The multi-scale design runs from 37" on the low B string to 34" on the high string. As a result, players benefit from consistent string tension and improved intonation. With 18 mm string spacing, the bass remains comfortable for a wide range of techniques.

Dingwall Super Fatty pickups power the instrument, and a customised Glockenklang 3-band preamp adds flexible tone shaping. Therefore, the Ari Gold can adapt to almost any musical situation, whether on stage or in the studio.
