Lakland has been quietly building some of the most player-friendly basses on the market since 1994, out of Chicago. The formula is simple and hard to beat: classic Jazz and P voicings, modern build quality, and necks that just get out of the way.

• Darryl Jones Signature - the DJ4 and DJ5, tight and punchy, exactly what you'd expect from Sting's and Miles' bassist.
• Bob Glaub - P-bass done the Lakland way: one pickup, one job, zero excuses.
• USA series - handmade in Chicago for players who want the full-fat version.
