Chromes are D'Addario's flatwounds, and they are some of the smoothest, warmest strings the company makes. Polished stainless ribbon windings for a glassy feel and near-silent finger movement, with a dark but focused tone that sits perfectly in a mix. This is the Light 40-95 gauge for low tension and easy playability. For the players chasing thump and mwah, not zing.
