Darkglass spent fifteen years making the best bass drive pedals on the planet, then decided to put all of it (and a lot more) into one box. The Anagram is what came out.

Calling it a multi-effects unit undersells it. It is a full bass workstation with a hexacore processor, a high-res touchscreen, twelve blocks in series (or twenty-four in parallel if you split the signal), every signature Darkglass amp and pedal modelled with the kind of accuracy that makes A/B testing pointless, fifty-plus effects blocks ranging from grit to reverb to delay, native NAM (Neural Amp Modeler) and AIDA-X support so you can load any user-generated capture in existence, a custom IR loader, and a USB-C audio interface built in.

It doubles as a guitar rig too. Load a guitar amp NAM profile and a 4x12 IR and you have a six-string workstation that fits in the same box.

The UI is the part nobody talks about enough. Six knobs (a nod to Darkglass's classic 6-band EQ), three footswitches, drag-and-drop block routing, three operating modes (Preset, Scene, Stomp), and a touchscreen that does not make you menu-dive. It is the first modeller we have actually wanted to use live without bringing a laptop.

I/O is comprehensive: stereo input, balanced XLR outs, stereo 1/4" outs, stereo effects loop (or expression pedal in), MIDI in and out via 3.5mm TRS, headphone jack with three gain stages, USB-C for audio, MIDI, Darkglass Suite and power. Yes, you can run it off a phone charger. No, we do not recommend that on stage. Ships with a 9V adapter and a transport case, manufacturer warranty included.
