The Progress has been Overwater's flagship since the mid-80s, and the Custom is the build-to-spec version, made one at a time in the workshops in Cumbria. This five string pairs a bolt-on maple neck and 24-fret rosewood board with a swamp ash body under a figured walnut and ash facing, repeated on the headstock, two Overwater soapbars and the active/passive three-band preamp. Long 34" scale, natural satin, black and gold hardware, 4.28 kg, and it ships in its Overwater hardcase. In stock at Bass Freaks, boutique Overwater dealer in Europe.
